I think it is very relevant. When we are all young and starting out we think we know everything. Years ago I was like you coming out of high school with good grades thinking I knew everything there was to know. Now that I am much older and actually know quite a lot about the natural world and a variety of topics I actually realize how little I truly know about everything. It is a humbling experience but that is how you transition into adulthood.
Now you are just being condescending. There are appropriate times to be an 'intellectual' and there are times when it is not appropriate. If for example you are trying to calculate where the gravitational minima or Lagrange points to place a satellite in then this 'intellectual' approach is pretty useful. If you are trying say how people behave or any other incredibly complex social mechanism then it fails pretty badly. What exactly is intellectual about your approach??? A true reasonable approach to any problem is to first consider all of the variables and what they depend on and how they interact with the system. You have considered the internal case within the system but have excluded the external forces that could possibly be acting on it. You have basically constructed a closed system problem and you are forcing the solution to this to the much more general and incredibly complicated open system problem. Another issue with being a sheltered academic who deals with problems that only appear on the blackboard or in textbooks. Brother I can refute you from any angle on this issue whether it be from the practical experiential angle or the theoretical angle. Sometimes you just have to defer to those who have more real world experience and knowledge than you.

Age is not an indicative of how broad or wide somoenes knowledge & understanding of a subject is or my maturity as a person

A person at the age of thirty could be more mature than an 18 year old from a psychological standpoint. Physically age defines maturity, but not mentally. For example, a young person could make good investment choices and have mature relationships whereas an older person may make shortsighted and selfish choices because they are less mature and they can also be less well versed in certain subject at the same time lack understanding & perspective.
We arent speaking of someones physical age but rather a persons mental age and with out a doubt has nothing to do with how many days you have been on the earth!

You cant dismiss someone because of age or any other character attributes. If you have superior argument this would be enough. I think the issue of negative cultural influence on somalis in form of black american culture and victim mentality is a valid argument. It may not be the case for every situation and for every person but to dismiss it entirely is wrong.

You took it the wrong way. I never alluded to intellect being a function of age though it can be seeing as the brain doesn't stop developing until late 20s to early 30s. You are a bright young man and definitely way brighter than me when I was your age. But there are topics you just won't be taken seriously on unless you have been through it or have reached a proper age. If a 12 year old bright kid were to have a debate with me about a topic within my field and they knew what they were talking about I would take them seriously. Now if the same 12 year old were to try to give me advice on investing or marriage then I wouldn't take anything they say seriously even if they may be absolutely correct and are a genius and neither would most other people. With age comes life experience and inevitably wisdom. You lack that wisdom and life experiences which explains your myopic worldview and why we know you live a very sheltered lifestyle which again is not a bad thing at all. But this is why your opinion counts for nothing on this specific matter alone. You don't even live there to begin with nor do you have any accurate way of knowing what goes on there. Everything you know can be based on nothing more than heresy and that seems to be the case with you thinking these dangerous areas Somalis live in are shared by other ethnic groups in large numbers like the Asians.

Most of them live in poor neighbourhood (down town Toronto)full of West Indies (islands) where they got the culture of drugging and party from them rap music. Try to move to small towns and suburbs ( some have low rents).
