Somali women who have 9,10,11 kids are the most miserable women ever, not in a y miserable just sad miserable ( you know what, unless you're menace, you understand the meaning of miserable) They have kids just to have kids, they have no goals, no structure, no hope. Just pop out kids who mostly turn out to be terrorists, gang bangers, rapists and overral moryaans ( not Hutu moryaans, the other moryaan). The kids also become miserable with lives, can you blame them?, they never get to have fun. They're dragged to school 5 days and the two days they were supposed to be kids and play freely they're waken up at dawn and dragged to dugsi. Most of these kids start to resent their parents, culture. Sometimes they feel as if they were accidents ( most of them are not planned, Somalis don't know what birth control is). I hope this generation and the future generations of parents do better.

Somali parents need to do way more. Be a soccer mum, go to your daughters ballet, take them out for a day for ice skating instead of letting them loose in a public park full of dogs and pigeons. Ask them how was school instead of blaming them for taking too long to come out for home time.

The things are worst in back home, dad described to me the family structure (in north or south of Somalia) the mothers are selling tomatoes/khat/banana at local market. fathers are working in morning and drinking tea & khaat at evening. The male youth will either join al kebab/streets gangs /or tahriib. As for girls, they stay home and do the housework & babysit their siblings. Dad said that nobody takes care of the youth or guides them.

Why are you offended? I'm speaking the truth, yes the big Jilbaab is a tent. I am actually helping raise those kids since I'm a tax payer and they all take funds from the government who take away my hard earned money. I think I've every right to be talking about this. As a tax payer you should be mad too but you probably work in halal meat and get under the table cash!

Let's keep it real, there is no way someone with even average U.S income($55,000) can raise 9 children who are all under 18. Also studies have proven that women with higher education tend to have lesser kids. Come man, this not Somalia. You're crazy if you're okay with Somali couples coming to west and popping out 5+ kids and they all have nice comfortable lives. Looking at the average Somali income(22,000) and welfare rate 60% - that's hell. Look, I know a hand full of Somali families who have 5+ kids and things aren't going good saxib.
