I was saying that a good portion of our dna from ancient times comes from the semetic people's that lived in yemen. They're south arabians because they lived in the south of the arabian peninsula.

Brother somali has over a dozen million speakers, liberal estimates go up to almost 30 million, more conservative estimates around 15. It is not almost dead.

Out of the 7000 languages in this world, Somali is among the top 100 most spoken, and is one of the most widely spoken native african tongues. Among hausa, swahili, etc(not including arabic cause it's not native).

And the arabs never came and conquered us and mixed with us like they did with Egypt, Sudan, etc. We have our own distinct culture, and language that we've been speaking for over 2000 years.

Somali genetics are Ancient Egyptian + Ancient Nilotic + extinct Horn of African hunter gatherer. Not Yemeni. But this is 5000+ years ago. Habeshas have significant Yemeni admixture.
