This is why I detest "Ana Carab" crew. Ha na soo wadan. Be Arab on your own.War Sõmālido chan baa Carab ah
Not only with Djibouti but walso ith Sudan and Yemen where Afwerki had border conflicts with these 2 nations in the 90s but the other main issue of why Eritrea isn't a member of Arab league or world is because of Afwerki and his Christian Tigrigna speakers highlanders Hgdef ruling elite who are anti Arab identity or closer relations that was popular among the lowland Muslim communities in Eritrea who were the ones who started the independence war against Ethiopia in their ELF rebel movement that was crushed by the defector Afwerki new rebel Christian dominated group EPLF with help of TPLF's Tigrayans.Actually, Eritrea has been refused entry to the Arab League due to territorial disputes with Djibouti.
Somalia and Djibouti have prevented their entry to the Arab League.
We are proud Caucasians; stop with this foolishness.don’t see us claiming to be cadaans.
i think the main issue is afwerki is habesha + christian. if arab eritreans were ruling then the red sea would become an arab lake. Not only with Djibouti but walso ith Sudan and Yemen where Afwerki had border conflicts with these 2 nations in the 90s but the other main issue of why Eritrea isn't a member of Arab league or world is because of Afwerki and his Christian Tigrigna speakers highlanders Hgdef ruling elite who are anti Arab identity or closer relations that was popular among the lowland Muslim communities in Eritrea who were the ones who started the independence war against Ethiopia in their ELF rebel movement that was crushed by the defector Afwerki new rebel Christian dominated group EPLF with help of TPLF's Tigrayans.
What are you basing that assertion on?Somalia is politically apart of the Arab league but we are not culturally, linguistically or ethnically Arabs. Somalis are just as related to Arabs as Persians, Turks, Punjabis and Bengalis are.
I think because of geography we are tiny little bit more related to Arab yemenis than Turks or Bengalis. This not because we are Arabs but because we had a big diaspora in Arab countries, many Arabs lived in our country, the average Somali probably knows Arabic more than the average turk or Bengali/Pakistani. If you go to Hargeysa or Xamar you are going to have an easier time finding an Arabic speaker than in Islamabad or Istanbul (excluding Syrian immigrants obviously). I still think we shouldn't be in Arab league but relations with Arabs were ok back in the days and it made sense for somalia to be engaged with our closest neighbors outside subsaharan africaSomalia is politically apart of the Arab league but we are not culturally, linguistically or ethnically Arabs. Somalis are just as related to Arabs as Persians, Turks, Punjabis and Bengalis are. This cringe trolling and begging to be Arabs needs to stop.
Most Arabs know we ain't Arabs but some of them consider us as "almost Arab". They certainly consider us more Arab than a Pakistani or a Bengali. Politically we SHOULDN'T be Arab though. In the last 30 years Arab did nothing for us, they can't even help actual Arabs in Palestine, they abandoned them and made deals with Israel. How are they going to help us if they can't/don't want to help true Arabs?I didn't say I was Arab, I'm Somali. My point is that historically some of us, my family for example who were coastal traders spoke Arabic and were culturally linked to them. We are not begging to be Arabs, we just have a long history and they are the ones who call us Arabs. Politically we are Arab though, that's for sure.
There's no way a somali is closer to an Arab than to his fellow somalis unless your an ancestors are Yemeni admixed. Even the most arabized Somali from Bari is still closed to the least arabized reer baadiye from the SouthMy ancestors lived in northern Bari. They spoke Somali and Arabic and knew only to write in the Arabic script. They dressed like the Arabs and were culturally tied to them, especially southern Yemenis. In that time, their main trading partners were also Arabs and they were closer to them in many regards than their own kin in the south. Maybe in 2022 it is different, but historically some Somalis have very close ties to Arabs.
What do you mean Arabs did nothing for us in the last 30 years? They are some of the biggest charity donors in Somalia. Most Arabs know we ain't Arabs but some of them consider us as "almost Arab". They certainly consider us more Arab than a Pakistani or a Bengali. Politically we SHOULDN'T be Arab though. I didn't say genetically. There's no way a somali is closer to an Arab than to his fellow somalis unless your an ancestors are Yemeni admixed. Even the most arabized Somali from Bari is still closed to the least arabized reer baadiye from the South
The west also gives us aid and charity. Would you say Usa and EU say our friends? Gulf Arab countries are working to destabilize Somalia , who do you think financed and ideologically trained the early terrorist groups in Somalia in the 1990s?What do you mean Arabs did nothing for us in the last 30 years? They are some of the biggest charity donors in Somalia.
