Update on day XL:
There were encounters on the Maraaga & Agoomaha fronts:
a) On the Maraaga valley, where SL militias tried to vacate the valley due to the heavy rains; their intent was to relocate to avoid their being swept away by oncoming rain at the beginning of the gu'u season.
b) On the 'Agoomaha' on the western front, was a reinforcement to rescue those holed up in Maraaga.

- Casualties on both sides.

- SSC militias intent on isolating SL militias, preventing them from relocating.
