It's actually a good deal after doing a light research on similar deals done by Dubai Ports.

Djibouti received $400m over 20 years. Well done SL :dzmxmmb:

:dwill:
And we received $400mil for 30 years! That's a 10 year rip off.
What about Mogadishu's port? How long is the contract?

$15M seems to be for signing the deal it self. There seems to be no mention of percentage of revenue per year. It could be a good deal for Somaliland.

Let's hope it's not something insane. Doesnt Turkey take over 75% of airport fees from Xamar?

Is the $400M anticipated revenue for SL in those 30 years? If that's the case, this is a slave deal. That's just 2 years of SL budget.

This is treason

You took the words out of my mouth, they rented for peanuts.
Rental port of Berbera for thirty years, Commission signed $ 15 million .. Cash ten million , five million for the pull boats Boats

Naah waad ciyaareysa no way where are you getting this information from is this serious ??? :wtf::williamswtf::williamswtf::wtf:

I was surfing the net incognito don't know why siilaanyolaugh

I'll look again but it was some stock news website

That's about $14m a year, if you're part of the Siilaanyo extended family you should be delighted

I told you these Arabs have just charmed these idiots with their akhi talk.

This slave deal would not have happened if an atheist secular official was negotiating. Samaale the Salafi extremist was probably negotiating.

They take 45% for the next 20 years. You had me believing it $15 million if they improved the capacity and that Somaliland would basically get a 30 year old port in exchange and hence my reaction. I hope the deal is mega.

Everyone listen up, if our Somali Pirate Brothers go back in business due to bankruptcy, then this deal won't even be worth a $. So say Alhamidullih and keep quiet.
