Why is it so hard to understand af waqooyi

Any isaaqs? Wtf are yall speaking, it sounds good in songs but I can barely understand it :lawd:
Lmao this is how you definitely know it’s end of the time. Af waqooyi is the original and the only pure af Somali. Right now you sound like how a redneck would sound asking the Queen of England wtf she’s speaking! Crazy! We invented af Somali kid, ii raxeeso 😂

The Waqooyi dialect is the language of sugaan(poems), songs and plays which the Somali culture is built upon. Hence, it's the "standard dialect" anyone who disagrees is just being dishonest. Technically, all clans originated in the north, so the further you go from the north, the less authentic the dialect becomes.:icon lol:

...And I consider Somali Galbeed to be an extension of Waqooyi. They too become less "original" the further they go from the north. The ones that border NFD and other koonfur areas, probably speak gibberish.

With that said, I find all Somali dialects and accents to be charming in their own ways.

I don’t mind a northern accent, standard northern accent is quite nice. It’s the ghetto xamarie accent I can’t stand. Every time I hear someone talk like that all my muscles contract and I immediately assume they have low Iq.
