Exactly war on terrorism wrapping up. West now focused on China russia and Iran . The cut off could easily happen next couple of years if Trump back and him not worrying about reelection. Somalia govt had bad hand also with climate . Went fromdrought to flooding which out of their control. But at minimum Al shabab should be resolved and clans disarmed at least in capital for starters make it safe for investors and example for rest of country fgs can be trusted with peoples wealth and security

This aid shows how Somalia economy is mostly fake. A lot of the economic activity is driven by remittance and international aid. Not much else going on back home. Billions pumped into country every year to keep it afloat and this report details some of the hidden inflows. Probably even more aid pumped into xamar due to capital status. It’s myth being capital is tax burden it’s opposite and enriching and driving whole economy as aid circulates

That's not good if that’s the case. SSC should be left alone to build its adminstration without interference from imo.
SSC probably not happening it’s divided into khatumo and makhir. Then u have a lot of the politicians and bureaucrats still working for puntland and not lifting a finger to amend constitution to formalize split and borders. It ain’t looking good for movement and last nail was fgs not inviting them to NCC while banadir gets invitation
What’s the point of this budget if all of it going to be stolen.
