Only problem is that the federal government doesn't have the power to even get that trough. It can't keep a city safe let alone taker power from corrupt warlords. That is a pipe-dream and recent studies show 60 % + support for Federalism. You meet a wall called reality

Yeah but we don't got that either also 20 somethings year old are bombing us the federal govnment daily. Face it Somalia will not be whole for the next tree decades. It is painful I know but federalism is least worse and cost less lives

Farmajo should focuse on wiping out Al shabab and securing the south. Only after that can he extend the power of the central goverment to the North.
Egyptian soldiers that will run the base and train Somali soldiers. Already the Somali police are getting their training in Egypt right now.

His first priority must be to secure Mogadishu, which is a small city. Then expanding to the rest of the country slowly. I think the realistic best case scenario is containing Al-shabaab to the lower regions of Jubbaland at best. They are so entrenched that even that can be difficult

There is a major difference post world-war Europe had educated people and were fighting an outside forces for the most part.
Also they received the marshall plan, which donated trillions which they have JUST paid off.
Europe also formed the European union shortly after to faciliate kinship and inter-connectedness to avoid war.
Somalia got neither

Bahal listen Red Sea and Somalia was part of Arabic world 's interest for past 80 years. Arab requested Somalia to join league several times, but both of Adam cadde and sharmarke the father rejected. Only siad barre accepted to get help against Ethiopia. They simply don't want Iran in Red Sea, Indian Ocean.

No, but it is a necessary sacrifice.
For the past 26 years, Arabs have fuelled the instability in Somalia by pumping tons of money to spread every wacky ideology and use us as an open air laboratory.
It is my opinion that they fear Somali competition since we apparently have one of the largest oil reserves in the world.

The things had changed since the rise of Iran and destroyed of 5 Arabic countries with their armies. They are desperate with surrounding of Iran to them. Lebanon, Syria north are controlled by Iran. Same iraq, Yemen. And if Somalia falls to Iran influence, they will lose bab al mandab to Iran where 75% of world trade goes through it.
