here's another video🀣
You literally proved my point. The video says there were no cities or indigenous kingdoms in that part of Africa(Northern Somali coast). The majority of the video speaks about the extensive trade and commerce the Romans had with Egypt and Aksum. No Indigenous Somali kingdom is mentioned. Even for the sake of argument, you take pride in Romans calling you guys Barbarians lol. Somali Nomads were just roaming around the desert and living in small self-governing tribal communities.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

No mention of an indigenous Somali kingdom that had a robust trading network with the outside world. No mention of Somalis having any influence on the Indian Ocean trade. Using a video that talks about the northern coast of modern-day Somalia for 2 minutes lol. You are intellectually deficient in this topic. We wuz trading with the romans and sheet πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Nigga everyone was called barbarian by the Romans. It’s not an insult, it literally meant people who were distinct from yours and spoke a diff language. The Romans also called Berbers, Germanics, Celts, Jews and Ethio’s barbarians as well. Imagine using 21st century vocab on people who lived in the 1st century smh 🀦

I’m not gonna bother with an essay debunking all of your claims. Just this pic is enough

🀣The guy in the vid did not go into details about the word and its true meaning but here's the true definition you cambulo brained muqshabeel.

The words 'barbarian' or 'barbaric' as we use them today, have evolved far from their ancient Greek and Roman origins into words with far more negative connotations than their original meanings. Today, 'barbaric' is most often used to describe something brutal, savage or uncivilised, whilst a 'barbarian' is someone who displays these characteristics.

'Barbarian' is derived from the ancient Greek word 'bΓ‘rbaros', meaning babbler, and was used to describe people from non-Greek speaking countries such as Persia and Egypt, who, to Greek ears, sounded like they were make unintelligible sounds (ba-ba-ba). Other similar words also exist in European languages such as the Sanskrit 'barbara' which means to stammer.

The Romans were the first people to add the negativity to the word, using 'barbarian' to describe any foreigners, including tribes, who didn't follow Roman traditions. The word evolved into common use by historians and scholars when describing attacks on larger civilisations by enemies who weren't part of their traditions.

It is a noteworthy observation that despite cinnamon's origin in India, the Romans amusingly designated our lands as the "land of aromata." This historical anomaly highlights an intriguing cross-cultural exchange between somalia and india

I don't think you are even a xalimo. It seems like you are farax masquerading as a xalimo. Your talking points almost sound identical to the farax Incel community. The way you counter historical and intellectual arguments is similar in tone to the Somali Incel community. I constantly see you overly praising Somali men and acting like there's nothing wrong with them. You only very seldom criticize Somali men and then you immediately follow up your criticism by overly complimenting them. I even exposed your ridiculous lies about the Ajuran Sultante. I swear your refutation is literally the same as Somali Incels. You are a strange guy. Once again discrediting people's roots and labeling them as an Ethiopian larper. Wallahi you can't be a women.

I love how that's the only thing you addressed. For example, in the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, a Greek sailor and merchant writing in the 1st century CE, the author mentions the Kingdom of Axum as a place of trade and commerce and notes its control over the Red Sea, describing it as "an immense and powerful nation."

In the 6th century CE, the Byzantine historian Procopius also mentions the Kingdom of Axum, describing it as a "great and mighty kingdom". Yes Aksum was so barbaric and uncivilized like Somali nomadsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
