When we look at the data compared to the middle east it's not even close. God has blessed us but we have to be intelligent and recognize what unites us is bigger than what devides us. Minister of Petroleum
"Self-sufficient". You need FGS if you want to do anything with other countries lol.

What does it say?The lazy Somalis back home who have no work other than the clan should prepare themselves because something like this will happen:
1974 AD. A group of Saudi employees on the day of receiving their salaries, waiting for the trucks that will transport them from their Aramco work sites in the city of Abqaiq to their homes in neighboring cities and villages. What does it say?
Just look at the suffering on this man's face. Somalis back home don't know what awaits them1974 AD. It's tuff. However somalis back home have had decades of sitting on their ass and letting ajnabis do work they consider "beneath them". I'm not say this is good in any way but it will mean many in employment and when a man has nothing but work and bills to think about, he tends to have no time to cause too much trouble.Just look at the suffering on this man's face. Your words are true, but the meaning of my words is not for them to be 100% like them, because times have become a little easier. However, I want them to abandon their arrogance and rely on themselves instead of sitting and talking about tribes every time.Back in the 70s life was harder in general. Machines do all the hard work nowadays.
Although it is difficult for me to see a Somali working as a βcheapβ worker, but if this means the country is progressing for the better, then I would like that, along with giving them all they need in terms of monthly additional money and free insurance, so that their familiesβ condition is average or above average. This will take an additional 15/20 years to be The country is in better condition and we will no longer see Somalis working as cheap labor, instead of importing Indians. We must not be like the Saudis as much as possible. It's tuff. However somalis back home have had decades of sitting on their ass and letting ajnabis do work they consider "beneath them". If this does boots the somali economic situation then I suspect that many somalis will become cheap labour. It's what happened in every developed nation, the mass population used to launch the nation into a new era. Brutal but true.

Lol Mogadishu by itself is richer then somaliland, puntland by itself does not compare
Puntland is the only self- sufficient state in Somalia with not one but two ports, and multiple airports. I won't even get into the maritime wealth or the natural resources.
100%. For me the ends justify the means because it'll mean a future generation will not have to suffer as much. We should look to Singapore as a model, developing not only from oil but pushing to immediately diversify our exports. Think of it this way we could be using revenue of oil to fix the regions in which the oil is from and as more oil rigs are open we can begin to slowly reduce issues.Although it is difficult for me to see a Somali working as a βcheapβ worker, but if this means the country is progressing for the better, then I would like that, along with giving them all they need in terms of monthly additional money and free insurance, so that their familiesβ condition is average or above average. Nah we don't want to leave a ticking time bomb for future generations. Better for our people to develop strong work ethics and feel pride at building the nation themselves. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
That is all with FGS approval lol. Cope but Deni bows to HSMLOL
Is that why Puntland signs deals with UAE, Djibouti and other countries? How old are some of you? Do you come here during your primary school lunch break? Or are you an adult, that is proud of being ignorant of the most basic Somali political and economic facts?

Time for you to do some homework. UAE backed off from from Puntland in the past due to FGS.Yep, you're some ill-informed teenager or something. Go do some homework, these conversations are too advanced for you.
