Musa gives Ethiopia a port and a military base on the Gulf of Aden. It's over

Behold the most free state in Africa, demanding an end to people protesting the selling of their homeland.
No one is selling anything. Stop your misinformation. It's a lease. Those youth are sadly falling for misinformation from somalia because they don't know the difference between lease and sale. I personally blame the somaliland government for not educating the youth enough in these regions.

Difference between sale & lease!
A sale refers to the transfer of ownership of a product or property from one party to another, typically in exchange for money. On the other hand, a lease involves granting someone the right to use and possess a product or property for a specified period of time, usually in exchange for regular payments.

For 50 years? Its going to be Oromo land by that point. You sold your future

why not? they had no issue with Tigray no?
The Tigray region borders Eritrea and the TPLF is a longtime enemy. Somalia doesn’t border Eritrea so deploying troops would more challenging

Somaliland isn’t in Eritrea’s backyard like Tigray is so it isn’t as pressing. They may support in other ways but I highly doubt they’ll send any troops

why not? they had no issue with Tigray no?

Why would they fight for a foreign country regarding a matter that isn’t an immediate threat to them? They may (and probably would) provide diplomatic and military assistance, but it’s illogical from their point of view to deploy troops on the ground.

The issue with Tigrayans is different as they border each other and have a long standing historical ‘feuds’. If you remember, there were a big war between the TPLF-led government in Ethiopia and Eritrea back in the late 90s.

Eritrea/HGDEF sees Tigrayans/TPLF as a political ‘threat’ or at least hostile, which is why Eritrea support Amharas/FANO and all attempts to dismantle ethnic federalism. And thus lead to a decrease influence from Mekelle towards a more 'friendlier' approach from Addis.

Theyre correct. Protesting (mudhaharat) is considered to be haram amongst some scholars. It only brings more fitna the people should have trust in the ruler

Let's not use the deen when it suits you only. If you didn't sell away their land to foreign forces, then maybe you wouldn't have seen mobilization of this scale. And if your leaders go ahead with the plans, forget about protests, they have the rights to object by all means :umad:

I am not even talking about this specific demonstration but generally protests are discouraged in Islam. People think this is “madkhalism” or whatever but its in accordance to the sunnah

Well Eritrea had a lot of issues with TPLF preceding that and it was much higher stakes. Had the TPLF won, Eritrea and Ethiopia would return to “no war, no peace”

When the Northern Command had been attacked, it was Ethiopian troops who fled across the border naked. At that moment Eritrea had become involved. From then it was just mostly technical expertise being provided from high ranking commandos in the EDF and some logistical support. When the the TPLF fired rockets at Asmara and Massawa, that gave us the casus belli to fully mobilise into Tigray
