there are a few million armed but most are civilians who will be forced to leave. Just look at what they did to tigrayan civilians. Atleast 400,000 thought to be dead.
Finally they are framing the narrative and situation correctly to the outside world. This is a poor attempt at annexation. Not a trade deal gone wrong, or a vague indiscretion by a neighbour, but a clear cut rejection of a hostile annexation attempt by a foreign country.

Turkey would literally train 10k Somalis effective immediately, but they just really don’t like the current president. What they’re doing for HSM right now is not even 1/10 of what they would do if a non UAE aligned president was leading.
