No truer words has been spoken. So many fake nationalists who want to destroy Puntland, what have they to offer us? Was it them who brought peace and stability to Puntland or was it us. Don't be deceived by all these fake 'wadanis'

Your legs will be broken if you try to interfere with Puntland's development.

Hated from every corner yet we still stand strong. Long live Puntland

The anxiety of these Land Land folks and there supporters if so obvious. Nabad&Nolol and Somali Nationalism is rising fast, just look at the language he's using, our youth getting brainwashed, they going Xamar (like its a foreign capital) and come back with money KKKKK

Patriotism in what sense? Is Puntland seeking country status?

According to the Puntland constitution, Puntland has the status of ' independent state'. Puntland did not seek secession however she wants to remain autonomous (which Puntland already is). The anger is about the SFG not recognising what has been agreed upon 14 years ago in 2004 which is federalism. They're still pushing for a central approach. The nationalist Puntlanders are reminding the weak minded among us where their bread is buttered.

Where's this power sharing agreement i keep hearing about? Are they ever going to get around to it? It's because of this still being up in the air we are having these issues.

Somalia literally Balkanized lmao. Sad!
Somalia always has been balkanised. The entire Kacaan era was just masking the clan divisions that already existed, because somalis have never been united ever.

I did not know that, I always assumed clan tensions were dying down after all this time. Either way Somalia needs to reunified under a new flag with a strong nationalistic leader. Once nationalism overtakes the clannism and all the oldheads pass away I feel like a revival can be made.

I wouldn't say that. At one point in time, Somalis were at least more untied than they are now. If only for a little while.

Honestly though, i don't think we are intelligent enough to move beyond tribalism like other groups in the world have. So clan federalism is probably our best bet. But only if we do it properly, which we are not at the moment.

Think about it this way. We have never been united ever. Even under the dervish state there was significant clan component to it. This has nothing to do with intelligence or uniting, it has everything to do with solving your own problems before you can think about unifying.

As LarryThePuntite has said. Gobolnimo comes before Nationalism.

In order to reach nationalism, from tribalism you first have to try to bring law/order/development to your own region. Puntland has done this, and doing just fine while other region are doing worse so of-course they will point the finger at us. I find it funny how people from regions that were slaughtering innocent muslims just 25 years ago are taking the moral high ground when it comes to these issues.

Puntland can remain autonomous, but it must have a foreign policy that coincides with the foreign policy of the Federal Government. Puntland will become a large liability in Somalia if it follows its own foreign policy.

"Federal government" You mean burundi/occupied Mogadishu? How can there be a Federal government foreign policy when they have not even finalised their own constitution?
