I generally think that it's good to have a great deal of self-regard and esteem, but it shouldn't come at the cost of somebody else.

When it comes to Humans I would say the ideal beauty standard, even if people don't realize it, is pretty much universal in that when Humans develop healthily and ideally they actually all look extremely alike across the world. This is something even some racialist, physical anthropology obsessed types have noted. High cheekbones, hollow cheeks, strong jawline, straight teeth with a wide profile, all their teeth in their mouth, straight and relatively small nose, tall and robust. With the right nutrition and habits this is what all Humans are seemingly more or less supposed to develop into and believe me, it looks gorgeous with pitch black skin, pink skin, curls, afro-textured hair, black hair, blonde hair, straight hair or whatever else. All that stuff is just decoration upon the splendor that is a healthily developed human being.

You see this all over the writings of even racist cadaans when they encountered the most splendid of specimens among Native Americans, Africans, Aborigines, Caucasians, Polynesians and so on. That you would just want to stand there and admire their beauty and that all of them shared the same basic traits.
