m not only talking about somali boys hence why I said somalis. I'm talking about any somalis regardless of genders who don't benefit our name the self haters the criminals etc. But I agree we have to defend our name from the smear campaign. I wish soon social media bans talking about immigration and criminals and they also ban mentioning the criminal birth country and ethnicity. That's the only way the smear campaign will fully stop.

Your ethnicity might be somali but you have the same birthright to the soil as an caddan born here. Open up a book ffs

Let's think why do people choose this path and why specifically our people? I can only speak for where i live Sweden. I think partly that the state has a great influence and ourselves our work culture to not motivate the studies and discipline like the Chinese and Asians do. I live in Sweden and let's take Rinkebys as an example. The state's way of handling immigrants is stupid, 1. They put all immigrants, specifically Somalis into a small village. 2. They give no chances financially like job opportunities or school which is a direct consequence of not being able to be part of society Most people there speak Somali because they only surround themselves with Somalis and without any motivation for studies and poor it is easy for them to end up in criminal surroundings. I also believe that the role of parents is important in ensuring that their children do not end up there. They are the most important thing, give them a whopping from time to time when they don't behave. But when parents already have it tough and the kids don't care and they don't do anything, well then they're done.
Imagine if we had the same culture of prioritizing school that Asians do. Goddamn we would be the best. Although I also understand that is not easy create that and it is difficult for our parents who did not have that chance for education may underestimate it or not look into it as much, but inshallah I hope that our generation can be the inspiration for the next to invest 100% when it comes to school. And people will soon associate us with being good at math like the Chinese.
