They don't even check to see that the assylum seekers are actually from the countries they claim to be from. They just assume them to be Somali and record them as such meanwhile they have names like ''Gebre'' and ''Naitsoka'' .

I don't know if it's most, but it probably is a good portion of them.

When you do look at the actual crime that Somalis speciicially do commit it's like petty stuff and they underrepresented in violent crime or major crime offenses and those types are exceptional cases in most respects.

Yoru right it's probably not most but j wouldn't be surprised if it's like 25% . I mean remebr the ethiopian mercenary who claimed he was somali but pronounce mogadishu as mokhadishu

nope that guy was actually somali he just had an Arab accent which is similar to Ethiopian

It does not actually speak of those who have actually committed crime at all. It shows the accused person by immigration background.

Only a fraction of those accused of crime is actually found guilty. So what the article is actually doing is presuming guilt of crime based on immigrant background on the basis of them being accused.

They are also counting a number of potential offenses from very few suspected individuals/groups and not the proportion of each individual in the population groups as a whole. So 160-380 per 1000 , doesn't mean 160-368 separate individual Somalis, Ethiopians or Iraqis are accused of offenses but only the number offenses , so 1 person can commit/suspected of 50 thefts by himself or a single gang etc

When you see the top 9 nationalities after Somali its all African and Muslim countries.
Outside of obvious social economic factors that might underpin this, like refugee status.

Since this is about accusation/suspecting of crime and not guilt of crime this may rather show systemic factor in law enforcement targeting Africans/Muslims and Somalis being a combo of both , it wouldn't be surprising to that we are at the top of the totem pole for ethnic profiling.

Btw Since this deals with suspecting/accusation of a crime and not guilt. This might very well be ethnic/racial profiling.

Police suspecting young Africans/Ethnics of crime is pretty much a common fair especially on zero basis. They constantly experience stops and search and racial profiling and other types.

Norway doesn't really have Swedish gang culture or struggles with rampant gang crime, high rates of crime or gun crime, knifing etc similarly with Denmark although they fear the Swedish exportation of it.

The only real organized gangs you will see in Norway is mostly norwegian Biker gangs that move cross nationally that have existed for decades.
There are no outright mafia-style groups in Norway – the closest in nature are the motorcycle gangs. The Bandidos and Hells Angels are the main biker groups and they have been actively recruiting young people for gang crime.

From papers i have read online and on reddit, Norway has had a seperate immigration policy than Sweden and a different housing market than them. Sweden lump assylum seekers/low income immigrants into the same areas that eventually form into ghettos, whereas norway seperate asysylum/refugees that arrive into different muncipalities and cities and they are assigned to and have no say on choosing where to live.

The housing markets are also different . Sweden has housing for the poor but Norway doesn't. So there is no real segregated concentration of poor ethnic people living in the same areas which is what creates the hotbed of gang and crime activity.

It's proven in reports that the recruits were Ethiopians and he actually mispronounced Ogadeen as Gdeyn or something to that end and butchers it's history says it belongs to Ethiopia.

That's fucking crazy. It was already bad enough somalis improted foreign labor but now even our terrorists are imported.

In Puntland and Somaliland they have made real efforts to send most illegal immigrant labourers back.

And IS terrorists are is in some deep isolated rugged mountain range devoid of human habitation , luckily they aren't many a couple of hundred with limited capabilities so the Puntland forces have moved in to snuff them out and captured many in the process.

Nobody said anything about being prideful.

Also, the fact that Somalis are overrepresented in crime statistics does not mean Somalis are inferior to Norwegians. Using your logic, it can be said that Irish and Italian immigrants groups are subhuman because they formed most of NYC gangs in the 1920s.

Obviously this is not true and the same can be said for Somalis too.

Be better.
