This is true but there is another side of the coin where people who claim noble lineages must prove they are who they say they are. The Islamic scholars of geneology are explicit in this matter. When the fatimids claimed to be Hashemi and theyr claims didnt stand up they were called out from the mimbars by the 'ulamah. All genetic studies done so far show that your clan and my clan as well show no Arab paternal ancestors. The evidence is strong enough that at this point you are attributing yourself to a false lineage and committing one of the kabaira.
