they fought the Amhara during the Zemena mesafint and defeated them and ruled Abysinna.
Egyptian war, No somali tribe or Harari tribe showed resistance the oromo had to fight, and eventually they left whilst the Isaaq, Gadabuursi were getting colonised.
Italian war of Adwa were the oromo cavalry destroyed the Italians which the southern somalis coudnt.

The Tigray war, in which Oromos constitute a large part of ENDF. The army lost 100k+ soldiers in the war, many of the perished being Oromos.
