Is it a good idea to marry someone who has already been married before with a child?

When you replied saying that who insulted the Prophet (SAW) and Sahaba you were literally quoting me. Are you soft in the head or what?

I didn't attack you specifically, heck I didn't attack anyone. All I said was women like to use the Prophet's Character to criticise men. Does "women" specifically mean you? Do you represent all women now or what?

I only quouted @Viscount. Are you viscount?

This isn't about opinons.

You called men that marry widowed or divorced women beta.

The prophet s.a.w and the sahabas did it and men far greater than you. You insult them for a few laughs on sspot.

I'm not a single mother nor would I marry a single dad.

But some of you lot are finished authobillah

Make tawba.
The prophet was a great man he took on undesirables to lessen their social stigma...they're still undesirables.

I think its insane how you can call the best women in the world 'undesirables'.

According to the seerah, Khadijah was seen as very desirable. Many men proposed to her. She also came from what they considered a great and noble lineage.

Brush up on your seerah before coming up with such an abomination.

Lol Khadijah (40) was older than Mohamed (25), proposed to him and made more money than him on top of being a single mother twice married before him.

Rasulallah was a great man, not many dudes would do that lol.

Brush up on your seerah. Read the 'Sealed nector' and the books by Ibn Kathir.

He makes it very clear that during that time period many men sought Khadijah.

They sound like hella desperate bums tbh

According to the sources they were prominent men. She was a noble woman, daughter of a chief leader and had a reputation of nobleness and intelligence.

You really need to watch your tongue authobillah. So anyone that proposed to her was desperate? Why would you insult a mother of a believer?

Anyways i'll leave you alone. You might be a non believer. There have been a lot of athiests on here recently.

She was a twice divorcee, had multiple children, much older 40>>25, proposed to him, and was the breadwinner. Those are undesirable traits for men, dudes with better options would go elsewhere.

Mohamed was a great man because he took the undesirable.

Those men were prominent. The prophet s.a.w being the greatest of them all who married her. With such a suggestion you are making it seem either

A. He didn't have options.

B. She was some sort of charity case for him.

I don't know what you're religious beliefs or if you are in fact a Muslim, but right now you are verging on disrespecting the deen. So if you are a non Muslim please have respect for my beliefs and if you are a Muslim have some shame.

Anyways this discussion is making me feel uncomfortable.

Yes she was a charity case for dudes with better options, that's why Rasulallah was a great man.

It wasn't only her. Many of Mohamed's wives were charity cases. They had multiple undesirable traits. Mohamed took them on because he's a great man.

You're talking like non believer at the moment. You know damn well you would never be able to say that amongst Muslims in real life and Islamically we are meant to honor the mothers of the believers.
Don't get carried away with being anonymous, Allah is watching you.

Their personal views on not marrying divorced widows are their own. But what shocks me is the fact that they are willing to put their deen on the line and insult the greatest women ever.

Why would you risk kufr or engaging in major sin and say that nonsense. 'desperate' 'bums' 'charity case', undesirable'.

We do have a lot of gaals here though and closeted ones, or ones that have huge iman issues so I can't even get mad.

No. What would you gain from doing that? Absolutely nothing.

We aren't living in normal times. If this was during a different time period I would answer differently but in the modern world, 9/10 she's single because somethings wrong with her. Either she ran off the babydaddy because she's toxic or the babydaddy is a deadbeat loser which automatically makes her a loser. Either way, run!
How does a woman predict that her husband will be deadbeat, an abuser or just downright nasty?

We don't date for years or cohabit in our community. I know girls who were in arranged marriages who were abused/disrespected by their ex partners.

Honestly, you're got some real issues with women you need to sort out. I'm sure you have some miskeen divorced habayaros, please call them a loser whilst you're at it.
Both of you guys are wrong, the first blames it on the woman and the second on the man, how are you going to argue against someone using the same reasoning? you people lack self awareness :snoop:
