You just make comments about GB issues but you never directly claimed to be one. You have too much shame to lie that blatantly I think.

They were working for the country as civil servants weren't allowed to be members of any political partiesThat’s not my point, you are creating a straw man. Obviously, the kacaan needed to keep civil servants.
The question is why did the civil servants work for the Kacaan?
All smaller parties were qabiil based and only ran during the elections to increase their qabiil chance of getting a seat and hopefully given a post in the new cabinet which is why many of those smaller parties merged with SYL after 1964 and 1969 elections after being swear in the new national assembly session and Egal after getting the seat of PM decided to merge his SNL northern party with SYL enjoying a healthy super majority supporting his govt in the national assemblyYes, the SYL was a political party with factional divides based on qabiil and region. Doesn’t change the fact that Egal switched political party affiliation to the SYL after independence.
Are you even aware of the fact that there were multiple political parties in the Somali parliament?
Also, funny you mention region and qabiil being one of the main factional divides, when Abdirazak and Abdirashid were direct second cousins from the same region. Their factional divide was more related to generational attitudes to corruption and tribalism.
Man really qouted a savage who almost burned down Kenta as a source of what to do with Somalia
Somaliland self-determination is on the cards now. The AU could possibly set up a commision to make a ruling on the issue

The one spreading revisionism is you as you just typing BS nonsenses as you call yourself "Minister of Propaganda"Actually there were also bigger political parties with seats such as the SNC and SDU. In 1964, the SYL only held 52% of seats in parliament. Those same opposition political parties also ran in 1969.
Stop with this revisionism to clean up the image of Egal and Siilaanyo, they were as part of the Xamar political class as your average Somali politician at the time.
He was appointed a minister for his expertise and no he wasn't part of XHKS that was formed in 1976 with no actual foundation being built into it as much of the state power and decision making was in the hands of the military's Supreme Revolutionary Council until its fall in 1991There is a difference between being a civil servant and a minister, which is a political appointment.
One had to be part of XKHS to be a minister in Somalia back then, try again.

About the elections in 1969 here's what actually happened:
*Many candidates affiliated with a major party only long enough to use its symbol in the election campaign and, if elected, abandoned it for the winning side as soon as the National Assembly met. Thus, by the end of May 1969 the Somali Youth League (SYL) parliamentary cohort had swelled from 73 to 109. In addition, the eleven Somali National Congress (SNC) members had formed a coalition with the SYL, which held 120 of the 123 seats in the National Assembly.

Was Somalia a one state party then in the three elections ?Actually there were also bigger political parties with seats such as the SNC and SDU. In 1964, the SYL only held 52% of seats in parliament. Those same opposition political parties also ran in 1969.

Somalia embarassing all around , Turkey setting up negotiations like new owners of our ocean which maybe they are . Somalia should tell them both F off until Ethiopia apologizes for disrespect
Negotiations without withdrawing the MoU, I guess that's another fail for the FGS.
XKHS wasn't functioning or has been the ruling party in the country as Afweyne in 1980 fully restored the military revolutionary supreme council and Siilyano wasn't even a high member of the Kacaan regime nor even Carte Ghalib the foreign minister who was also a technocrat bureaucrat who worked as civil servant and diplomat in the 60sMembership of XKHS was mandatory lmao.
Are we really being intellectually dishonest here. Silaanyo was a member of the kacaan, stop shifting the goalposts.
Somali Republic didn't have westminister system but European parliamentary system and you don't know that in 1969 elections many of those smaller parties ran on qabil message as they represented a single clan aiming to get a seat in parliament which is why Cigaal AUN added in the constitution of the Republic of Somaliland that there be only 3 main national parties whose political license lasts about 10 years and after it expires people chance the chance to elect new 3 main parties to emerge through local electionsMan, do I have to explain Westminister parliament to you?
Yes, those are backbenchers who have become cross-benchers based on what is politically expedient.
No front-bencher in any political party switched political affiliation. Egal was a political heavyweight, why are you comparing him to some village politician?
