I’m also agnostic I left Islam about a year ago I haven’t told anyone and people think I’m still Muslim I think it’s all ethnicities that are becoming less religious studies show 25% of Muslims who grow up in the USA end up leaving the religion
Majority of that is shias

I suspect my brothers think the same as me, since we were all raised non religious, I was never taught how to pray, didnt open a quran once

Could I even call myself Muslim?
Are you even Somali???
Because which Somali has never open the Quran at least once in their life?
Even the least religious Somalis has read the quran and prayed a few times in their lives.

Bro’s reason to leave islam was esoteric memes

Him on yamul qiyamah trying to recall how decades old memes were a justifiable able reasoning to leave the deen.

We know there are many atheist anti-Islam liberal posters on here. We do not know who you are or if you are Somali at all. We know open atheists and liberals are non-existent among Somalis in the real world.

It is an anonymous forum after all.

but not when it comes dīn. I do the same thing as that picture when it comes to Hitler. but when it comes to dīn, that is totally different. if some person spends an hour listening to a lecture of an atheist calling to their atheism... and they aren't doing this with the intention of putting out a video refuting them or making some kind of refutation... but they are genuinely open to the atheist's ideas and genuinely interested in their belief... that is something seriously wrong

A miracle would be if Homo sapiens came into existence within a few years but we didn’t, it took millions maybe billions of years for evolution with natural selection and the planet to form for humans to exist, I know you were taught this at school.
The universe, planets and life taking a while to process doesn’t disprove god.

I have a counter for you how do explain the fine tuning of the universe and the insane odds for life to come into existence.

The best argument you guys have is there is an infinite multiverse and we just happen to be lucky. Do you seriously believe that.

You would rather believe we were the ultimate lottery winners than believe in the more plausible scenario where we were created by god
You still have to explain who created Allah? Do you just believe that he wasn’t created? Maybe he’s lying. The problem is you can’t confirm any of these statements.
Reality is filled with things that are caused. Everything leads back to a single event(the big bang) the big bang itself was caused and something cant cause itself because it needs to exist to cause it self which is contradictory. Therefore we need an uncaused cause or you will fall into the infinite regress fallacy.

If god was created then he wouldn’t be god and what created him would be god.

You niggas that fully read the Quran wasted your time :dead: @Dalac Bilaash @Khanderson @Killamenace78

I knew I didn't care about the Deen when I started going to duqsi as a kid. Waking up at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning was my breaking point. During that time period I didn't have cable as a kid. So the best cartoons I was able to watch only came on on Saturday morning. The only thing good about the weekends was the fact I got to hang out with my cousins after duqsi.

I barely cared about memorizing my surahs. I was stuck on the third juz for two years and than had to start all over once I got a new macaalin.

During Ramadan my mom would become a lot more strict by trying to force me and my younger siblings to practice more. I attempted to read the Quran a few times during Ramadan. Every time I try to read a translated version of the Quran I got bored quick. By the time I turned 16 I refused to stay home during Ramadan. I started working summer jobs and volunteering just so I wouldn't have to deal with my mom. I couldn't even play video games peacefully during that month.

You should read this book called Saturn and the moon matrix. The truth is this Earth was hijacked billions of years ago by shapeshifting reptilians and they rule the world as the elite and they put the moon there. You may think I'm crazy but many scientists are confused as to why the moon even exists, we are the only planet in thousands of solar systems that has a moon. The matrix controls everything every corporation, major religion etc.. This is real occultic shit many ppl wont understand.

I refuse to take this "who created Allah" argument seriously. Why is it even a question of whether Allah has existed eternally? They might as well question whether Allah is All Knowing....

"very intellectual" atheists: "yes ok I accept for sake of argument that there is an All Powerful Being who Created Everything and is the Sustainer of Everything and I accept all of Allah's Attributes- except I deny that Allah has always existed and I allege Allah must need a creator"..... this argument is nonsensical. once you accept all of Allah's other attributes then it is a simple logical deduction from there that Allah is capable of having existed eternally without a creator.

atheists pretend to be logical but do they even know logic? a logical induction may or may not be true. If we're predicting US politics, Venezuelan politics and I'm sure the politics of anywhere- you gather facts and you use inductive logic to say "I think Maduro will probably stay in power"- you don't have absolute 100% certainty in terms of probability in what you're saying- Maduro could die of a heart attack or a palace coup.

But deductive logic is 100% infallible. Deductive logic is like "all triangles have three angles". "All rectangles have four angles". This cannot be wrong. A triangle by definition must have three triangles or it isn't a triangle.

Once we accept all of Allah's other attributes, it is a matter not of inductive but of deductive logic that Allah is capable of having existed eternally without a creator. If Allah was not capable of this then this would contradict Allah's being All-Powerful.

the whole "Ka'bah is saturn" thing is nonsense. it hinges on Ka'bah being covered in the black cloth. But it used to be different colors in the past. I am very much open to theories about the current Saudi gov. But people with the strange "ka'bah is saturn" thing are going too far with conspiracies. I believe in lots of conspiracies but some of them like flat earth and "ka'bah is saturn" are just nonsense.

Theres too many proofs from the quraan and the ahaadith that point to the truth of Islam, you're playing a risky game.I'll throw a quick one out there to get you guys thinking, surah al-masad in the quran condemns the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)'s uncle abu Lahab and his wife to hellfire. This surah was revealed 10 years before the death of Abu lahab. There are many instances in the seerah where enemies of Islam became Muslim later on in life(abu sufyan, the son of abu jahl ect). The point is that the truth of islam hinged upon the sustained disbeleif of Abu lahab, if he became muslim in those 10 years the quran would have been disproven and the deen would be nullfied.Him and his wife both died kafirs. Similar ayat were revealed about Walid ibnu mugheera(the father of Khalid ibnu walid), condeming him to hellfire whilst he was alive. He also died a kafir.
The pagan quraish begged him, pleaded with him just to accept the religion in a hypocritical fashion just to disprove it to masses, but he wouldn't budge on this, despite his intense hatred for it, divine commandment stopped him from doing so.

Any Atheist vs Muslim threads are always bound to get high engagement. Both sides fight but the trench lines don’t move.

The best thing to do is try and help those who are still open minded and are struggling with doubts. None of your doubts are new and people spoke about them for centuries before you. Just reach out to the community and proper resources.

>Look at the Middle East in general or most Muslim worlds. You people destroyed Somalia with your extreme ideologies. If you guys behaved yourself and fixed your country most of us wouldn’t have left Islam. Because of you guys destroying Somalia and producing Al-shababs.
You wont find me defending wahabists or Al-Shababs but I often find your characterisation such as the above, to be scant of fairness, even biased.

Neither Iran or Singapore exist in a vacuum. One was and still is blockaded, embargoed and sanctioned by a block of countries.

All the while, these same block of countries subsidised the island country of Singapore, who entirely rely on the import of critical goods from the "Open Market".

Iran has never been able to participate in the "open market", as recently attested to by India's External Affairs Minister.
The above snippet is from the following interview @00:10:40, 'India is not sitting on the fence', says External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar.

As a simple exercise, we could merely sanction that Island country, which can grow nothing and see how long they would last.

You might say the sanctions are a result of the extremism, that would be wrong. This goes as far as back as the Anglo-Persian Oil Company days.

To think these block of countries have no problems with the east nor Islam is at this point naive. This is not just my opinion but of people far marter than you or I
Some Westerners […] have argued that the West does not have problems with Islam but only with violent Islamist extremists. Fourteen hundred years of history demonstrate otherwise.
― Samuel P. Huntington in his book "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order"
