>Look at the Middle East in general or most Muslim worlds. You people destroyed Somalia with your extreme ideologies. If you guys behaved yourself and fixed your country most of us wouldn’t have left Islam. Because of you guys destroying Somalia and producing Al-shababs.
You wont find me defending wahabists or Al-Shababs but I often find your characterisation such as the above, to be scant of fairness, even biased.
Neither Iran or Singapore exist in a vacuum. One was and still is blockaded, embargoed and sanctioned by a block of countries.
All the while, these same block of countries subsidised the island country of Singapore, who entirely rely on the import of critical goods from the "Open Market".
Iran has never been able to participate in the "open market", as recently attested to by India's External Affairs Minister.
The above snippet is from the following interview @

'India is not sitting on the fence', says External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar.
As a simple exercise, we could merely sanction that Island country, which can grow nothing and see how long they would last.
You might say the sanctions are a result of the extremism, that would be wrong. This goes as far as back as the
Anglo-Persian Oil Company days.
To think these block of countries have no problems with the east nor Islam is at this point naive. This is not just my opinion but of people far marter than you or I
Some Westerners […] have argued that the West does not have problems with Islam but only with violent Islamist extremists. Fourteen hundred years of history demonstrate otherwise.
